Fife Council has warned motorists that roadworks will start on A907 Carnock Road from William Street to Target Road, Dunfermline from Monday 7 July, for approximately six weeks.
Due to the high volume of traffic on Carnock Road, we will carry out the works between 09:30 and 15:30.
The works will be carried out in three phases in order to keep disruptions to a minimum and to ensure the safety of both road users and our roadworkers:
•Phase 1 – William Street to Whitemyres Court. There will be road closures to William Street and East Baldridge Drive, with 2 way temporary traffic lights through the junction. The road closures will be in operation from 09.30 to 15.30.
•Phase 2 – Whitemyre Court to Francis Court and Phase 3 – Francis Court to Target Road will be controlled by 3 way temporary lights.
Access will be maintained for the emergency services, residents and affected businesses.
