Locals in Dunfermline are being encouraged to make a difference for a child in need this Christmas by leaving a gift under the Giving Tree at a local showhome.

Annfields, a Dundas Estates development, is supporting Radio Forth’s Cash for Kids Christmas Gift Appeal this Christmas. From 1-15 December, people can leave a secret Santa parcel under the showhome’s special Christmas tree.

Heather Birrell, Sales and Marketing Manager at Dundas Estates, said: “We’ve been supporting charities across Scotland with our Christmas Giving Trees over the last few years, and we always aim to support local, community charities when we can.

“Our employees go the extra mile to spread a little Christmas cheer by putting up decorations and giving visitors to the showhomes a warm, festive welcome.

“Some of our staff have been gathering gifts since the summer, or organising other fundraising events to support the local charity.

“It’s all about doing our part to help a child who might not otherwise receive a gift this Christmas.”

Visitors can drop off a gift at the showhome, located off Lapwing Drive, between 11am and 5pm, Thursday to Monday, until 15 December.

All gifts should be clearly labelled with details of whether it is best suited for a boy or a girl, and include a target age group. For more information about the Giving Tree, contact Irene on 0845 005 5003 or email annfields@dundas.co.uk.
